Where has Zkin been? Well, its a funny story...

Zkin was found by a random cadet after the warp core exploded. He's been in a coma until now, with no memory and a lot of regrets. His right arm and right leg had to be replaced, but he refuses to have his scars healed because of some mark of shame complex. He'll probably be found wandering the Engineering area, learning about the new parts and people. Otherwise he'll be staring out the window into space, trying to remember what he did wrong. He can still work, though not as well. Telling him it wasn't his fault will initiate ranting. He'll get over it, don't worry.

Still need the OK from higher ups before jumping into rp.

I need a more belivable return explanation. I like the warp core story, but surviving exposure to antimatter seems a little to epic for an IT guy. Please post ideas on how to get Zkin Ex back into things.

I don't see a problem with what you've come up for with your character's disappearance.

But you were gone so long that I'm not sure if you're able to roleplay right off the bat. You need to contact Narris Trelak - You could call him the "IC Specialist" in this case - and let him know you want to return to roleplaying with us. He will let you know what you need to do further.

I don't even think you had to come up for a reason for something happening to your character back in episode two. Injuries or not that was a while ago for the Horizon and characters are fine now.

All I can say is if you do plan on returning to roleplaying with us please catch up on episodes three, four, five and six. Six is currently being wrapped up this week. We have episode logs located here: https://starship-horizon.forumotion.net/episode-logs-f19/ for that purpose. If you're feeling lazy or want to ask questions about any of it you can whisper me. I'll be available.

I'm reading the logs in detail now, trying to figure out where Zkin Ex would have ended up. When I asked Narris about it, he recommended a "fade out." I'm not sure what that means, but he is right about someone being in a coma for a year being a big deal. I might just go with making Zkin one of the nameless npcs in the logs. Or he might have just been hiding whenever things go bad, he does that too...

Nevertheless, I have to finish reading the logs and updating Zkins profile before I do anything official. Is it possible to do a test RP somewhere? To see if a character works without messing up the main canon?
