Char Name(Full): XTK-99175 (Hatchet Shell)
Char Race: Android (wolf)
Char Age: Five years since manufacture date
Wanted Rank(Are you willing to have a lower rank than this?): Cadet, if you can find a military rank that's lower, by all means give it to me.
Position Applying for: Medical
Character Description:
An android designed in the image of a muscled wolf. Having the physique of a soldier, he has the programing of a doctor, certainly an odd combination. He is of a gray coloration, wearing the uniform of a Starfleet medic. Because he is a fairly new model, he is only granted a Cadet status until informed otherwise. A big guy, but with hands of great delicacy. He's most often social and humorous, as is expected of medical personal, though his programming is unlimited. At the first encounter, it would never even occur to most that he was an android!
Short RP Post:
Hatchet Shell rushed into the medical bay, having been summoned to assist with the critical patient. There was a parasite, and it had to come out! "Take hold of him" he requested of those in the room, looking the man up and down. The scanners in his eyes soon picked up the creatures thermal and biological signals, determining where it was headed. "Tourniquet the left thigh, quickly. Don't sedate him, the parasite may respond..."
Abilities/Skills/Strengths:
Various scanners and visions built into him to allow for different views on various injuries, mechanisms account for hand-eye coordination when performing surgery, eliminating human error. Within his data bank is several manuals and guides to nearly any injury imaginable, as well as operating all Starfleet medical equipment.
Weaknesses:
Despite his large stature, he is NOT designed for combat. He shys away from firearms, the only conflict resolution he knows being verbal. For those inevitable hospital drama arguments.
Other:
Every month, he must be upgraded, as medical knowledge is forever expanding. His knowledge on other lifeforms is limited to what he has seen and processed. Extraterrestrial lifeforms given to him for medial examination or for surgery will be examined, the information gathering taking at least an hour until he will be confident enough in knowing what's important or not.
